Community/Social Media Manager
Ferrazzi Greenlight seeks a bright, engaged brand ambassador with some business background and a pronounced interest in personal and professional development. Your time will primarily be spent listening, talking, engaging, advocating, discussing, evangelizing, and mediating in real time with customers and collaborators.
We’re looking for someone with a solid track record of developing relationships through social media and online communication, and who’ll thrive on the below tasks:
• Oversee and moderate activity in our community and social networks
• Gather community feedback, input on future products and services, and perhaps most importantly of all, be responsible for gathering the requirements of the community -- utilizing house blog, surveys, focus groups, etc -- and communicating those requirements to editorial and tech for product development
• Manage and cultivate FG’s presence in social media (facebook, twitter, stumbleupon,...) – continue building our online persona(e), improving profiles on all the major sites, etc
• Plan new discussion threads, user groups and polls
• Moderate user-generated comments on articles choose ones to highlight
• Choose user generated content to feature within our online newsletters
• Coordinate and acquire experts to participate in online discussions and webinars
• Participate in editorial meetings to coordinate user-generated features into new content
• Identify "cool new apps" that drive traffic and participation
• Identify influencers and trends within the communities and come up with creative ideas around these trends
• Oversee efforts for grassroots messaging and content placement on social media outlets as defined in strategy such as: blogs, message boards, social networks, video upload hubs, etc.
• Identify, support and encourage leaders within the community
• Respond to all reader mail.
• Serve as initial point of contact for inbound requests.
• Track, report on and evaluate company's success at being visible and influential online and off
• Responding to and cultivating online relationships with all users who register to the site
• Process, edit, package, and distribute video content for the site.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, business or related Field
• 2-5 years experience in community management or online marketing

• Experience with, and passion for, creating and consuming new content types: websites, blogs, podcasts, wikis, etc.
• Expertise marketing through subscription-based channels such as RSS, podcasts, blogs, wikis, discussions
• A self-starter with the willingness, and desire, to ³roll up your sleeves² and get the job done
• Self motivated decision maker full of ideas, energy, and confidence
• Strong writing and editing skills ¬
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
